Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
Account details (name, email, account type), candidate profile data (positions, species and specialties, skills, certifications, licences, work history, availability, housing needs, uploaded files), outfitter data (business details, operation description, job listings), messages sent through the platform, and basic technical logs.
2. Candidate profiles are private
Candidate profiles are never public and are excluded from search engine indexing. They are visible only to verified outfitter accounts signed in to the platform. Uploaded candidate files are stored in private storage and served through short-lived signed links.
3. What is public
Published outfitter profiles and job listings are public, because candidates need to be able to see who is hiring.
4. How we use data
To run the platform: matching candidates and outfitters, delivering messages and notifications, processing outfitter subscriptions, preventing abuse, and improving the product. We do not sell personal data and we do not use candidate profiles for advertising.
5. Service providers
We use third parties strictly to operate the service — hosting and database, authentication, file storage, transactional email and payment processing. They only receive what is needed for their function.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time; we then remove your profile and files, keeping only what is required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and you can control which optional details appear on your profile. Email support@outfittercrew.com and we will respond.
8. Security
Access to data is enforced at the database level with row-level security, so a candidate profile cannot be read by anyone other than its owner and verified outfitter accounts. Files are stored privately by default.
